Kettlebell Training
A kettlebell is a traditional Russian training tool for full body conditioning to develop a strong yet lean and athletic build. The techniques used are particularly good for lower back and hamstrings whilst improving resistance to injury and increasing mobility & range of movement. Kettlebell training also provides a great cardio workout too so you get the benefit of an all over body workout. It’s fast becoming a very ‘chic’ method of training, widely used in the States and martial arts schools and the word is now spreading to Europe.
Effective training involves ballistic lifts that involve a high degree of movement and inertia such as the swing, snatch and clean & jerk. These are quite technical moves that take some mastering so we suggest that some gym experience is necessary before undertaking this session. It will take a few sessions to mastering the moves but the benefits of Kettlebell training are immense.
